Ween 9/17/10 - Summerstage

Getting to shoot my favorite band in Central Park will be one of the highlights of my year :) Ween brought their usual rockin, genius, hilarity to summerstage and everyone there had a fantastic night. How can you not? It's WEEN, nuff said.

Up Front - 7/17/10 - Mercury Lounge

The energy at the Everybody's Scene show continued to rise as 'Up Front' took the stage! The crowd got wilder, the instruments got louder and my bruises got larger with a few well placed hip slams against the stage!!! The night was reliving history for a good number of the folks crammed into Mercury Lounge as it was marked the first show in 20 years with their singer, Roger, who fronted the band in the late 80's.

Our Gang 7/17/10 - Mercury Lounge

I got to feel what NYC must have been like in the late 80's and early 90's at the Everybody's Scene show at The Mercury Lounge. The first act that I caught was 'Our Gang' and they raged and the audience raged back. It was a visceral experience as I was covered in sweat and bruises (happily covered) by the end of their set.

Siobhan O'Malley at Rockwood Music Hall 6/6/10

It is always a treat to be serenaded by the lovely songbird, Siobhan O'Malley. Her songs are raw and honest and her voice is both beautifully soothing and emotionally powerful. The treat was her piano rendition of Bell Biv De Bo's 'Do Me' BRILLIANT!

Persephone's Bees - 6/5/10

The Persephone's Bees show at The Bell House was a hauntingly beautiful straight up rock n roll show with an energetic sophistication that was captivating to watch. I wanted to shoot, I wanted to dance, I wanted to listen in wondrous rapture.   To check out more pics from this show Click Here
